This portrait explores identity through contrast and form. The subject turns away from the camera, while a sharply defined shadow introduces a secondary presence within the composition.

By using controlled lighting and high contrast black and white tones, I emphasized shape, movement, and negative space. The motion of the hair adds energy, while the shadow creates visual tension and duality. The image reflects my interest in using light not only to illuminate a subject, but to construct an additional layer of meaning within the frame.
