This series captures a local community event held at a riding stable of Norrköping (Norrköpings Fältrittklubb) on a cold, rainy day. Despite the weather, families, volunteers, and children came together to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I was drawn to the contrast between the grey surroundings and the small, human moments, kids meeting horses for the first time, volunteers organizing activities, and quiet pauses in between. The work moves between wider scenes and close-up details to build a sense of place, focusing on how the event felt rather than just what happened.

I’m interested in capturing everyday moments that might otherwise go unnoticed, small interactions, subtle expressions, and the atmosphere of a place. This series reflects that approach through a day that was as much about community as it was about the activities themselves.
